Dr. Derek Wang is the General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Singapore, leading teams across marketing, sales, pre-sales, and technical support, to deliver success for Singaporean customers in Cloud Computing and Data Intelligence. Prior to this, he was the Chief Cloud Architect of Alibaba Cloud International and led the Global Technical Team distributed in several regions, including the US, Europe, ASEAN, ANZ, MENA, North Asia, and India. His team is responsible for high-quality solution design and service delivery of cloud data, big data, AI, and IoT. To ensure customer success in building applications on top of the Alibaba Cloud platform, Dr. Wang has several big data-related patents. He also led the middle office teams of international IDC planning, strategic projects management, consulting services, product requirements management, training and certification, and key project delivery.
